Job Description:

Position: Technical Sales Representative

Location:

Job Description:

Are you interested in starting a sales career in the IT industry?  We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Technical Sales Representative in the New England area to be responsible for building strategic and strong long-term customer relationships focused on Cyber-Security products, both IT and OT. You will be tasked with finding prospects for new business and obtaining new customers by positioning ValuTrack’s solutions portfolio of Cyber-Security solution offerings through conducting presentations, sales meetings, and negotiating complex sales.

Responsibilities Of a ValuTrack Sales Representative Include:

  • Conducts heavy outbound business-to-business solution-based face-to-face outside sales with customers, as well as telephone sales cold calling.
  • Visit customer sites to gain a better understanding of the customer’s business, needs, and environment.
  • Coordinate, develop, and conduct presentations and meetings to market ValuTrack’s offerings.
  • Works individually, and as a team, to meet/exceed individual and/or team sales targets and goals.
  • Develops and nurtures supplier relationships in the territory to remain the one point of contact for the OEM sales rep per territory.
  • Ensures long-term customer retention and relationships by researching and developing existing customers, as well as new leads.
  • Ability to establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision-makers within each customer and territory
  • Utilize and update CRM database
  • Maintain ValuTrack’s Values and Philosophies of Success

Qualifications:

  • 2-yr or 4-yr college degree in business, marketing, or related highly preferred (Direct sales and account management experience may substitute for education preferences).
  • Prior experience selling and supporting Cyber-Security products to industrial or supply chain IT and/or operations customers preferred.
  • Experience in the Cyber-Security industry is highly preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of outside sales strategies and techniques.
  • Experience giving presentations to corporate decision-makers.
  • Must be a self-starter, problem solver, assertive team player, results-oriented, cares about others, and has the ability to network and be creative.
