Ensure Healthcare Compliance with Blood Temperature Indicators
Safe-T-Vue blood temperature indicators are purposefully designed to help blood banks, blood collection centers and transfusion services improve compliance and preserve valuable blood supplies. When attached directly to blood bags during refrigeration, transport and temporary storage, Safe-T-Vue temperature-sensitive indicators provide a visual indication when blood products, plasma and RBCs have reached or exceeded 6°C or 10°C. Because they are nonreversible, Safe-T-Vue products will indicate that a higher temperature condition existed even if the temperature eventually returns to a lower level.

What can Blood Temperature Indicators do for you?
Ensure Temperature Compliance for Blood Products: Medical professionals can be assured of compliance to temperature requirements because STV responds at the critical temperatures defined by AABB Standards and 21 CFR 640, and does not revert once a color-change has identified an exposure has occurred.
Facilitate Blood Administration: Indicators promote accountability during transport, giving you visibility to confidently identify blood products that at no time exceeded temperature thresholds, enabling them to be reissued and minimize waste.
Better Manage Blood Inventory: Reduce the disposal of blood products due to the lack of temperature status. Safe-T-Vue gives you visibility, so you can confidently identify blood products that at no time exceeded temperature thresholds, enabling them to be reissued.
