Time Temperature Indicators
HEATmarker is a miniaturized, self-adhesive temperature monitoring indicator that can be applied directly to temperature-sensitive products. HEATmarker gradually changes color as heat exposure accumulates. When the gradual color change surpasses the reference color the user can identify if the product has exceeded its temperature limit.
Make Time-Temperature Monitoring Easy: HEATmarker features color-changing technology enabling the identification of potentially degraded products so action can be confidently taken. The indication area, initially light in color, becomes darker when exposed to heat. When the cumulative heat exposure has reached the limits of its profile, the indicator will either be the same color as or darker than the outer ring surrounding it.
Preserve Product Supplies: HEATmarker provides a visual cue to allow users to preserve product supplies and maximize inventory efficiencies by using products that haven’t reached their endpoints, and disposing of only those products with HEATmarkers that have reached their endpoints.
Sophisticated Chemistry Supports a Variety of Product Stabilities: Featuring patented technology, HEATmarkers are available in options to support the stability of your product. For example, a HEATmarker Hx indicator (37°C specification temperature) with 9 days to endpoint would be used for a less stable product while a HEATmarker Hx indicator with 36 days to endpoint would be used for a more stable product.

Vaccine Vial Monitors
Used to monitor the temperature exposure of vaccines globally since 1996, identified as a critical component by the World Health Organization and UNICEF, HEATmarker VVM is an indicator containing a heat-sensitive material that is affixed to a vaccine vial by the manufacturer to allow for full-life monitoring.
HEATmarker VVM indicators are affixed to a vaccine vial by the manufacturer to allow for full-life temperature monitoring. The inner square features a heat-sensitive material that becomes darker when exposed to heat. The color change is faster at higher temperatures and slower at lower temperatures. At the endpoint, the inner square is the same color as or darker than the outer circle. This allows the HEATmarker VVM to give health workers an overview of the cumulative heat exposure of the vaccine and a clear visual indication when it has reached its time-temperature endpoint, informing them whether the vaccine should be administered.
Simple Identification of Cumulative Heat Exposure: HEATmarker VVM’s inner square features a heat-sensitive chemistry that shows a gradual and permanent color change. Initially light in color, it becomes darker when exposed to heat. At the endpoint, the inner square is the same color as, or darker than the outer circle. This visual indication alerts healthcare workers of the heat exposure of each vaccine vial to inform them whether the vaccine should be administered.

Vaccine Vial Monitors for Peak Temperature Excursions
HEATmarker VVM+ was developed specifically for monitoring heat-stable vaccines. HEATmarker VVM+ combines traditional HEATmarker VVM cumulative heat with innovative peak temperature indication technology addressing the risk that vaccines stored outside of the cold chain may be subjected to a peak temperature excursion which could cause rapid degradation.
HEATmarker VVM+ provides healthcare workers a new level of assurance, in the same historic format as the traditional HEATmarker VVM. HEATmarker VVM+ visually shows whether there has been either a cumulative heat or a peak heat threshold exposure so that the healthcare worker can make the same scientific determination to vaccinate the child based on the color change. Choose the HEATmarker VVM+ that best correlates to the heat stability of the vaccine per the WHO Immunization Vaccines and Biologicals guidelines.
Innovative Combined Heat and Peak Threshold Indication: HEATmarker VVM+ uses two proprietary sensing technologies, including the newest threshold indicator technology, which is layered on the classic HEATmarker VVM in a highly precise manufacturing process. It reacts, looks like and is interpreted the same as the traditional HEATMarker VVM. But, at 40°C, HEATmarker VVM+ reaches its endpoint rapidly to show exposure to critical peak temperature.
Support Controlled Temperature Chain (CTC) Initiative: There is a risk that vaccines stored outside of the cold chain may be subjected to a peak temperature excursion which could cause rapid vaccine degradation. HEATmarker VVM+ features innovative technology that indicates that a vaccine exceeded the labeled high-temperature threshold limit during transportation – especially during the last mile, when the vaccine will be out of the cold chain.
Lowers the Cost of Vaccine Delivery: HEATmarker VVM+ drives down the overall vaccination cost. Threshold Heat Indicators
LIMITmarker irreversible temperature indicators can be applied directly to heat-sensitive products, available with delayed (2 hrs) or immediate (15 secs) Indication. When exposed to temperatures at or above the response temperature, the heat indicators change color within a specified response time to give a visual warning.
LIMITmarker provides an easy-to-read, irreversible visual signal within the specified response time that heat exposure at or above the response temperature has occurred. It is adhesive-backed and can be applied directly to product surfaces or packaging. The indicating “window” on the label changes color when the response temperature has been exceeded.

Reversible Room Temperature Indicators
LIMITmarker Reversible 18⁰C indicators can be applied to the primary packaging of products, providing a clear visual sign when a refrigerated product becomes warm enough to use. The indicator is sold blue when cold (at or below 8⁰C), then changes color and reveals an “OK” message when it approaches room temperature (18⁰C +/- 2⁰C).
Many products require refrigeration to maintain their efficacy but are recommended for use at room temperature for optimal performance.
