To extend your device to the left or right from the Vehicle Mount (especially the ProClip Angled Mount) to avoid interference with the dashboard controls/displays. Extension plates may not line up with the pre-drilled holes on your ProClip mount. The included self-tapping screws can be used to screw anywhere into the mount face.
