Designed for small to mid-sized warehouses, Savant ADC (Automated Data Capture) provides basic, core functionality such as receiving, put away, inventory counts, inventory moves, picking, and shipping. Designed for small to mid-sized warehouses, Savant Basic is a scaled-down version of our WMS that maintains a rich feature set. Savant Basic provides basic, core functionality such as receiving, put away, inventory counts, inventory moves, picking, and shipping. Plus, it integrates into many of Savant’s other supply chain solution modules and has a low-cost growth path in our WMS solution. The Stand-Alone version does not have automated ERP interfaces but does provide text file import/export capabilities.

Shipping Manifest
Savant Shipping Manifest utilizes the same user interface and foundation as Savant’s Warehouse Management System and can function as either a standalone system or a part of the WMS capitalizing on its powerful system architecture. This unique platform provides our partners and customers with an unprecedented single yet integrated solution for the mid-market. Savant’s Rest API tools enable you to exchange information seamlessly with your other key business applications.
Critical to your daily operations, Savant’s Shipping Manifest module enables users to achieve new levels of shipping automation through a solution that is easy to use, efficient and cost-effective. When coupled with Savant WMS you give your users a single User Interface to use from Receiving to outbound Shipping, all on a single platform with one solution provider, not 2+.
Box Build
The Box Build module takes your shipping requirements to the next level. This module verifies products that have been picked for an order and tracks the shipping carton where each product is placed. Distribution companies that pick in totes and place products in shipping cartons or containers will find this module to be invaluable to their operations.
The module also incorporates a unique box-building algorithm that helps the packer select the appropriate-sized box or boxes for shipping. Product dimensions are entered in the inventory screen. The box build algorithm eliminates certain sized boxes based on the dimensions of the products picked. The box-building algorithm can be used prior to shipping to facilitate picking into the shipping container saving yet another step in the shipping process.
Container Tracking
The Container Tracking module works with the Receiving module to provide in-transit information for containers arriving from overseas. It allows the purchasing department to group lines from various POs into containers based on information from the shipping entity. The warehouse receiving crew can then receive the goods from the container as a single unit, rather than having to split up the goods manually into multiple receipts by PO. Another feature is the ability to track the vessel, voyage, and various dates associated with the movement of the container from the time it ships to the time it is returned to the harbor as empty.
Dashboards
The Dashboard provides executives, warehouse managers, and staff with a real-time, graphical view of their warehouse operations. With the Savant Dashboard, managers can quickly identify and resolve problems that are causing operational bottlenecks. The Dashboard can display real-time snapshots of daily activities and up to 3 gauges and 2 graphs per screen.
Kitting/WIP
The Kitting/WIP module provides the ability to pick raw materials needed for Manufacturing Work Orders or components for Kit Assembly Orders. Additionally, it allows for the receipt of Finished Goods for the Work Order or Assembly Order. Over-picking of parts is allowed if needed, in order for warehouse workers to move products in an efficient manner. With this module, it is possible to know which lot numbers of raw materials were consumed in the manufacture of the finished item which can be helpful for proper compliance track and traceability. The ability to create scrap transactions is also part of this module. You can also easily return the unused stock of over-picked raw materials. Finally, an option is provided to scan specific component parts at various routing steps within the manufacturing process and to capture manufacturing time as well as quality control at each step.
Labor Management
The Labor Management module captures information about each worker, work area, and warehouse, and provides reports showing the productivity for the day as a percent of the standard. This information enables managers/supervisors to identify low-performing individuals and work areas so that their performance can be improved or the standard revised due to some previously unidentified problem. Combining this with other measures, such as accuracy and quality, will help provide a better overall picture of the warehouse’s performance.
Lot/Serial Tracking
Critical to many of today’s quality inventory control standards is the ability to accurately record and track lot and serial codes. The Savant Lot & Serial Tracking module tracks both lot and serial numbered products from manufacturing or receipt through shipping. The module provides the necessary foundation for quality control, product recalls, product security, warranty tracking, and product maintenance.
Packing
The Packing module provides the most streamlined process of shipping parcels in the industry. Tasks are easily accomplished using our state-of-the-art, browser-based, single-platform solution. The Savant Pack module gives warehouse staff a quick and easy way to print packing slips and box labels, rate shop multiple carriers, create carrier-compliant labels, and print required carrier documentation.
RMA
The Savant RMA module allows the warehouse to receive and track returned products. Products can be dispositioned by the warehouse operator so that they can be inspected and then either moved back into good inventory or adjusted out if damaged. Returned products can be put on hold, and/or received in specific bin locations separate from other receipts. Workflows can be created to control the types of information that is captured on a return, similar to the receiving workflow for purchase orders.
ASN
Checking in goods or otherwise validating shipments can be such a hassle, an exercise that can be very time-consuming, more so without the necessary tools in place. However, with ASNs, the process can take relatively less time, particularly when the vendor and the customer are known to have trusted relationships. Of course, trust hardly comes by cheaply, a reason vendors are encouraged to hold an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status. The coupling of these two elements consequently offers better or smoother transactions, precisely affording high-level assurance that in-transit deliveries are correct and thus no need to check shipment once received. A quick barcode scan alternatively does the magic.
